This is a very nice and quiet family campground. Heavily forested with a lot of privacy. Even on a busy holiday weekend it was quiet. This is a nice relaxing place with a nice beach and play area for the kids. The play area is not by the campground though, it is over the hill by the beach.

This is one of our favorite parks however they have recently made a lot of changes. I will miss the peaceful non-electric area by the lake. Buy most folks will enjoy the changes I believe. They have added electric hookups along many of the lake front campsites. They have taken what was the electric area and upgraded them to full hookup sites. The electric sites are $25 and the full hookup sites are $34. These are the normal weekend prices, Holiday weekends are higher and there are some discounts available for Sunday thru Wednesday camping. Great park!

This is a nice county park however the campground is not laid out as nicely as it could be. Some sites are very unlevel and you will need an extension cord to reach some of the shared hookups. Be sure to have 50' to 75' of water hose as well. There are some sites that overlook the lake and have a nice view. The kids enjoy this park because there is a lot to do here. We camp here a couple of times each year. See the web site for a better description of things to do at the park.

This was a very nice and quiet campground. We especially enjoyed the lake front camping. We don't have much of that back home in Indiana. This is a mature campground with nice trees in most areas. Great place and we will be back for another visit.

This is one of our favorite parks. All of the lake front campsites are non-electric. There are modern restroom and showers in the non-electric area. They have been digging out the edge of the lake so some of these campsites show evidence of this work. They tell me that it will be done and back to normal by the 2007 camping season. This place is scenic and pretty quiet. If you are looking for lots of activity and attractions, this is not the place for you. The fishing is usually pretty good on this lake.
